语法点一：冠词一．冠词的定义

冠词是一种虚词，不能单独使用，要附加在名词前，帮助说明该名词的含义。

二．冠词的分类：冠词分为三种: 1.不定冠词a/an； 2.定冠词the；

3.零冠词（即不用冠词）三．不定冠词a/an的用法 ⑴a/an的选用：

①---辅音音素开头的单数名词前用a； ----元音音素开头的单数名词前用an。

a dog a book an apple an eggplant 注：这里所指的是元音音标前用an，并非是元音字母前。 an hour an honest student

a one-yuan note a European country a UFO ②字母a, e, f, h, i, l ,m, n, o, r, s, x视为独立单词使用时，这些字母前要用an.

There’s “s” and “u” in the word “sun”. ③以元音字母u开头的单词前选用a/an，要视以下两种情形而定：

u发[/\]时,前用an

an uncle an umbrella an unusual day u发[ ju: ]时,前用a

a uniform a useful book a university ⑵不定冠词a/an的用法 ①表示第一次提到的人或事物。

There’s a suitcase under the bed. The suitcase is very heavy. ②表示泛指。

I want a new pencil-box. ③表示数量“一”，相当于one。

A plane can cover 800 kilometers in an hour. ④序数词前加a/an,不表示“第…”而是“又一个”、“又一次”等。

I am going to learn a second language. ⑥用于姓氏名词前，表示“一位…”。

A Mr smith is waiting for you in the office. ⑦表示某一种类。

A horse is a useful animal. ⑧用在一些表示数量的词组中。

四．零冠词 ⑴零冠词,意思就是约定俗成在某些词组中,名词前面不加冠词。 ⑵主要有以下几种情形： ①国名、地名、街道名及人名前通常不用冠词。

South Korea Beijing Nanjing Road Alice ②表泛指的物质名词及抽象名词前。 Knowledge is power.

Honesty is important is all of us. ③this, that, my, your, some, each, every等代词修饰的名词前不再用冠词。

We enjoyed every minute in London. ④三餐名词前不用冠词。

We usually take a walk after dinner. ⑤球类、棋类名词前。

Tom likes playing soccer, while his twin brother Tim likes playing chess. ⑥年、月、季节、节日、星期、学科及假日名词前。 Spring is my favourite season. He was born on January 9th, 1998. ⑦称呼、头衔、职位名词前。

All the students elect Bruce to be chairman of the Students’ Union.

Most American chose Obama as president of America. ⑧在一些固定词组中不使用冠词。
