ABSTRACT
In recent years of the research of China’s folk music and encouraged by “Twelue ladies Music Show” and “Red Cherry Bundel”, other new music group have shown up under the impact. Baced on this, the thesis makes a comparison between the publice eathetic tastes, wariations of cultural values and China’s traditional instruments. It also analyzes the existing condition of new folk music, backgrouns, values and significance and puts forward that new falk music has a great effect on China’s instraditional music. Anything is born with value variations and may have their negtives and positires. So it is inevitable that new folk music is gegraded and even critigized at defferent stages of its development. The only way for further development is constant creations, exchanges and incorporations thus stand up to the test of market and time. New folk music is sure to start the progress for China’s various music, lay a foundation for China’s music leading to the world, turn a new page in the exchangesof the world musical cultrues.
