today i want to introduce a man Rui Chenggang and his book, i know may be some of you also like him very much. I think most of us have seen the program which he has host,may be you just don’t know his name.Yeah, i’m a fan of him,i started to know him since i was at high school,i was attracted by his handsome and charming .Sometimes i watched his program,even if a lot of content he said i don’t know, because it involves too many professional words.OK, now let’s learn something about him.

Rui Chenggang was born in Anhui province Hefei.He was born in 1977,his father is a famous writer 黄家佐 his mother is a famous dancer 芮淑敏 He followed his mother's surname.

Rui Chenggang is a director and anchor of China Central Television, the national TV networks of China. Besides producing and anchoring the daily prime time business news shows on CCTV’s business and international channels, Chenggang, as CCTV’s only bilingual business anchor and talk show host, also conducts face-to-face interviews with the world's top politicians, business leaders and economists. Among his recent interviewees are Bill Clinton, former President of the United States, John Snow, US Treasury Secretary, George Soros, the Financier, the President of Georgia, Mikhael Saakashvili, President of Nigeria, Olusegan Obasanjo, IAEA Chief, Mohammed El Baradie, Jack Welch, Former Chairman & CEO of GE, Michael Dell, Chairman of Dell, Bill Ford, CEO of Ford Motors, Meg Whitman, President of Ebay, and the new CEO of Intel, Paul Otellini, etc.

Since 1999, he has interviewed over 300 worldwide chairpersons and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, and more than 30 heads of states.

Chenggang was one of the founders of China's very first international TV channel, CCTV-9, a.k.a CCTV International. In 2003, he co-founded and started anchoring the news flagship of CCTV’s Business Channel, (formerly known as CCTV-2) Newslist.

From 2000 to 2003, besides anchoring, Chenggang was also a columnist of Beijing Youth Daily, the most widely read newspaper in Beijing.

In 2001, Chenggang became the youngest research fellow of Development Research Center of the State Council of China. In 2002, he was selected as one of the 24 founding fellows of the US China Young Leaders Forum, organized by the National Committee on US-China Relations. Also in the same year, he became a founding fellow of China-Europe Young Leaders Forum, hosted by the BMW Herbert Quandt Foundation. Chenggang is also a founding member of the New Asian Leaders Forum.

In 2005, nominated by Richard Levin, the President of Yale University, Chenggang was selected as the youngest Yale World Fellow in the history of Yale University, and is joined by 17 outstanding future leaders of the world in this very special leadership program, aiming at making the Yale the cradle of the world’s, not only America's, top politicians and leaders.

A host of China Central Television urged Starbucks to withdraw its outlet from the Forbidden City because its existence spoils Chinese culture.

The Seattle-based world's largest coffee chain opened an outlet six years ago in the Forbidden City, the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in Chinese capital Beijing. Rui Chenggang, a host of an English program on CCTV, said in his blog that the outlet humiliates Chinese culture and he has protested to Starbuck's chief executive and president to withdraw the outlet.
