Challenge and Responsibility

I had to admit, when I first saw the topic, I feel confused about it. But by thinking about these two words, challenges and responsibility, I suddenly understand the relationship between them.

Challenge means breakthrough. The challenge is not just challenging problems, challenging failures, the most important and most difficult is challenging yourself. Only through self challenge, can we improve our abilities, so that we can truly become the best of ourselves. Of course, challenging ourselves is not simple, it requires us to have enough self-confidence, enough courag, enough willpower. These requirements are still too hard for us, because we are just freshman, we are still too young and not yet experienced too much. What does this mean? This mean that we have to come out from "greenhouse", go into the to exercise ourselves, only in society this way, can we get abilities to conquer ourselves.

As George Bernard Shaw said: "We are made wise not by the recollections of the past but by our responsibility for the future". His words clearly explained the importance of responsibility. As a student, study is our responsibility; as children, parents are our responsibility; as a nation, society is our responsibility; as a college student, country is our duty. In the other words, from birth, responsibility appeared , and is tightly wound in our life. So we should clearly know what our responsibilities are and then act to fulfill them. Some people say that responsibility is a sweet burden, I agree with them. Now, we have known the meaning of challenge and responsibility. So here comes the question: what is the relationship between the challenge and responsibility? Challenges make people gain the ability to bear the responsibility. In simple terms, the challenge is the base of taking responsibility, and responsibility is the challenge of power. The relationship between them is close, much like the red flowers and green leaves. Because of the close relationship between the challenge and responsibility, we can take the time to become the best of ourselves. What's more, it creates the possibility for our success.

Finally, from now on every one of us should take actions to challenge ourselves and

bear the responsibility bravely, only in this way can we set foot on the peak of life.
