1、Approvals Obtained on Longyuan’s Six Wind Power Projects
Six Wind Power Projects of China Longyuan Power Group Corporation
Limited (00916.HK) have been approved by local government, including
Guizhou Weining County Dahaizi Wind Power Project, Guizhou Weining
County Laoheishan Wind Power Project, Xinjiang Alashankou Phase Ⅲ
Wind Power Project, Xinjiang Dabancheng Sanchang Phase Ⅴ Wind Power
Project, Xinjiang Hami Southeast Wind Power Project and Shaanxi Jinbian
County Gaojiagou Wind Power Project. The proposed projects are located in
Guizhou Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Shaanxi
Province, respectively. Total installed capacity of the projects is 447.5 MW.

2、Standard Chartered Signs Pact With New York Regulator
Standard Chartered, the British bank accused of illegally funneling money for
Iranian banks and corporations, signed a settlement with New York State’s
top banking regulator.Bank executives agreed last month to pay $340 million
to settle claims that Standard Chartered moved hundreds of billions of dollars
in tainted money and lied to regulators.The final agreement allows the
150-year-old bank to move beyond its clash with the 11-month-old New York
Department of Financial Services. The state regulator moved alone to accuse
Standard Chartered in August of working for nearly a decade with Iran to
hide from regulators 60,000 transactions worth $250 billion.[New York
