第一节 /i/

一、warming-up（a little game）

Name：“Get out of the plight.”

Progress: There are two students (A&B) a group. There are two strings on their wrists, but crossed. They should let them apart.

Rule: The two students should let the strings depart but forbid from slipping, changing or cutting.

Time：8 minutes

Result：I will give 8 chances(teach them how to make it) to the 8 former students who can answer my questions.(Actually, there is hardly one can ‘get out of the plight’ if he didn’t play it before. I will use this way to attract their attention and lead-in today’s lesson.)

二、Lead-in

六、Evaluation

Play a game named “big watermelon and small watermelon.”---The host said “big watermelon” but we should draw a small watermelon and down. If the host said“ small watermelon”, we should draw a big watermelon and up. Again and again but out of order, If the students failed , he should give us a word or sentence but the sentence’s pronunciation must contain /i/.

七、Conclusion

(1)For /i/: The secret of pronouncing /i/ well is that we should master the 5 points offered in Explanation.

(2)For the first game (a) Firstly, we should discuss the solution with our partner, instead of doing it by yourself. (b) Secondly, we should observe and think about it and then take action.

For the second game; We should learn how to balance our thought and action.
