Section one: India

In the East India, some weddings are arranged and others are love marriages. When a couple is to be wed, it is considered a marriage of two families, not just two people. The bride traditionally wears red, as white signifies death in their culture. The groom wears a traditional cream colored long coat with a red turban. The father of the bride joins the bride to the groom by handing her one end of a cloth that is held by the groom. The groom leads the bride 4 times around the holy book with help of the bride’s brothers and cousins. After the fourth round, the couple are considered married. Priests give blessings and advise the couple on how to live and love in their new lives together.

Section two: Germany

Quite differs from India, the bride in Germany always wears a white dress. The wedding is usually celebrated in a church and starts without the bride. When the wedding ceremony service starts, the bride’s father will bring his daughter to her future husband. After receiving the priest’s blessing, the new couple exchanges their rings. One thing that is frequently done on the wedding is to throw the wedding bouquet, people who catches the bouquet is believed to get married next,

Here’s one thing very unique in Germany wedding, which is so called Polterabend. The day before the wedding, friends and relatives bring old porcelain and kitchenware to throw on the ground in front of bride and groom. This is supposed to grant them a happy and lucky life.

Section three: Brazil

A wedding ceremony in Brazil has many important details. For example, the groom can’t see the bride wearing her wedding dress before the ceremony. The bride has to use something new and something that is borrowed. One more detail is that the rings should be engraved: the names of the new couple.

Section four: Traditional Chinese wedding As we can see, people often wear red wedding dress, because red stands for luck, enthusiasm and passion. Also cross-cupped wine, the big red sedan and red veil are essential elements of traditional Chinese wedding.

As the saying goes: the most delightful and beautiful moment in one’s life comes with the marriage. Wedding is not just a simple ceremony; it stands for a new start of a new couple. It stands for the love between two lovers. It stands for a forever promise to walk the rest of life with the accompany of each other.
