摘 要： 随着经济技术的高速发展，知识的需求越来越大，因此世界各国普遍重视教育的发展，我国也不例外，纵观教育发展的各个阶段，越来越多的人尤其重视高中教育，因为高中阶段是通往社会的敲门砖，是人生的分水岭。本文旨在通过中美两国高中教育来分析两国的文化差异，在世界发展的今天为什么我们十三、四亿人口的中国比不上只有三四亿人口的美国？答案就是教育。文中通过中美两国的考试制度、应试教育制度与素质教育、学生对本国教育的看法、该国的教育体制以及两国的教育对学生产生的影响等多个方面比较中美两国的差异，以其来比较两国的教育所产生的不不同影响，从而反映两国的文化差异。

Abstract：With the rapid development of economy and technology, knowledge, therefore needs more and more universal attention all over the world education development, China is not exceptional also, throughout education at various stages of development, more and more people are especially high school education, because high attention to social open the stage is, is life's watershed.
